Silence is Golden?

I don't know who coined the phrase, "silence is golden". Other than lyrics to a song, I find it rather dark. Phones have stopped ringing- house speaks in pops, creaks, and groans I don't remember- a haunting of quiet. Life has moved on, but I am stuck, stopped, not able to go with it- no memo. Life was, is here, and gone at the same time.
Try to spiritualize that. You are missing, and I am missing. Thankful to be missing you? No. Thankful I had you, Babe. |
